One of the biggest factors in SQL Server’s performance is the amount of free space on the disk where it is installed. When this gets to 25% or below then speed can drop alarmingly.

Many things can affect GoldMine responsiveness (network issues can be a biggie) but, if your GoldMine suddenly becomes a lots slower, then disk space on the SQL server is the first place to look.
